Obituary

Elizabeth Ann (Dibba) Delashaw Caspers
MOULTON — April 6, 1923 to June 23, 2018 — On June 23rd our beloved Mother went Home to be with her Lord
and reunited with loved ones that preceded her. Born to Noble Edward and Elizabeth Bragg Delashaw, she was
raised with her three sisters, Racine, Sarah Nell and Edwina in Moulton among family and friends. During WWII,
the late John Caspers, then in the Army Air Corps, met, courted and married Dibba. Their first son, John Edward,
was born in 1945. After the war, Dibba and John settled in Moulton, welcoming Joseph Ronald (1948) and Robert
William (1949) and raised their sons in the nurture of family, friends, and Moulton Baptist Church. Dibba was a
longtime staff member for Probate Judge Bill Lee and supported the Board of County Commissioners until her
retirement.
Dibba is survived by Joan C. Fitzloff, sister-in-law; Gene and Chris Johnson, brothers-in-law and Zella Caspers,
sister-in-law, all of Minnesota; her three sons, John and wife, Gay, Ron and wife, Stephanie, and Bob and wife Di.
She loved and enjoyed her grandchildren, Melinda and Danny Thompson, Annelle and Josh Barker, Rusty
Caspers, Jason and Laura Caspers and Paul and Jessica Caspers and 11 great-grandchildren. She was
profoundly loved and will be sorely missed by family and friends.
Services will be Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Moulton Baptist Church with Dr. Daryl Wood and Dr. Jessie
Reeder officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Moulton City Cemetery. Elliott
