Elizabeth "Irene" Comer age 93 of Killen passed away on Monday, August 25, 2014. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:30 P.M. till 5:30 P.M. Graveside Services will follow at Bluewater Cemetery at 6:00 P.M. with Alton Garrison officiating.

Mrs. Comer is preceded in death by her late Husband, Roland Comer. As well as her parents, John Lewis and Nora Ray.

She is survived by her son, Larry Comer and his late wife Patsy. One sister, Lettie Thigpen and her late husband Farley. Grandchildren, Bridget Hanback (Kevin) and Stephanie Hicks (Jared). Great-grandchildren, Kinsley, Macy and Lily Hanback. Collins and John Lewis Hicks. Nieces, Linda Carroll and Judith Rickard.
Mrs. Comer was a lifelong member of Bluewater Primitive Baptist church, She loved gardening, sewing, but most of all being a grandmother and great-grandmother.

Pallbearers will be; Kevin Hanback, Jared Hicks, Darrin Garner, Phillip Roden, Johnnie Carroll and David G. Tate. Honorary bears will be; Jerry Comer, Robert Walton, Mark Tate, Glenn Tate, Kendall Tate and Andy Rickard.
