Elizabeth D. Evans age 90 of Florence, passed away on Thursday May 15, 2015. Visitation will be Monday evening May 18, 2015, at Elkins Funeral Home of Florence from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Service will be Tuesday May 19, 2015, at the First United Methodist Church of Florence at 1:00 P.M. lying in state from Noon till 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Robert Sparkman officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband of 73 years, Paul A. Evans Sr. One daughter, Linda J. Rovere and husband Jim. One son, Paul A. Evans Jr. Two granddaughters, Stephanie Wilson and husband Don and Emily Tirgrath. Six great-grandchildren, Austin Wilson, Lindsey Wilson, Blake Wilson, Lily Tirgrath, Jack Tirgrath and Lucy Tirgrath.

Mrs. Evans was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Florence and involved in the Sunday school class.
