Elizabeth Ray Clemons Mitchell, 77, of Florence died Wednesday, January 02, 2019, at her residence.

A graveside service will be Friday, January 4, 2019, 2 PM at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.  Elkins Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Mrs. Mitchell was a loving mother who enjoyed her children and grandchildren.  She was a member of Oakland Methodist Church.

Mrs. Mitchell was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Elizabeth Clemons.

Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her husband, Waylon Mitchell; children, Angela Thompson (Dan) and Thomas Mitchell (Lisa); grandchildren, Nathan Thompson, Natalie Thompson, Nicolas Thompson, Isaac Mitchell, Elisabeth Mitchell, and Nathan Frazier; sister, Arlene Wisdom (Jess); many nieces and nephews.
