Elizabeth "Nonnie" Ricks Spaulding
Decatur Funeral for Elizabeth "Nonnie" Ricks Spaulding, 80, of Decatur will be Saturday, October 22, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Ricks officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mrs. Spaulding, who died Wednesday, October 19, 2011, was born August 29, 1931, in Georgia to William Fitzhugh Ricks and Margaret Ethel Donnell Ricks. She was retired from Bell-South and was working at Studio A Dance Center. She was an avid bowler. She was a member of Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Church. Her husband, Raymond Spaulding, preceded her in death. Survivors include two daughters, Kim Baer and husband, Howard, and Rhae Brock and husband, Chuck; one brother, the Rev. Charles Ricks; two sisters, Lynette Vaughn and Joan Cobb and husband, Don; four granddaughters, Alicia Mullican and husband, Stacy, Christina Beck and husband, Jason, Erin Baer and fiance', Brandon and Hannah Cole and fiance', Jesse; and four great-grandchildren, Matt, Mollie, Eli and Amelia.
