September 29, 1946 - November 18, 2016 Elizabeth D. Posey (Libby), age 70, of Priceville, passed away Friday November 18, 2016 at her home. After a long battle with Dementia, she left this world to be with the Lord and her Parents. Libby was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend to all she came to know. Through all the trials and tribulations life brought Libby she always showed the kindness and love that we all grew to love her for. She was a dedicated Dental Hygienist for many years in Decatur working for Dr. Kirby and lastly Dr. Richard Bedsole. She had a passion for her profession and loved her patients as if they were members of her family. She is survived by her husband Jim Posey, Sons Jamie Posey, Larry Posey and Chase Click, Sisters Marguerite Southall (husband Harold) and Paulette Guthrie (husband Paul), Grandson Chandler Sanders, Granddaughter Brittany Arelleno, Great Grandchildren Jadyen and Jace Jacob. A visitation will be held Monday, November 21, 2016, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Ridouts funeral home, Decatur. There will be a grave side service on November 22, 2016 at 11:00am at Elmwood Cemetery, Birmingham.
