Funeral for Elmer W. Osborn, 83, of Decatur was Tuesday, October 26, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roger Jenkins officiating. Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation was Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Osborn, who died Saturday, October 23, 2010, at Decatur General Hospital, was born December 11, 1926, in Lawrence County to George "Wash" and Eula Osborn. He retired from Harggets Sheet Metal.
Mr. Osborn is survived by his wife, Daisy Osborn; one daughter, Waynell Stover and her husband, Junior; and one grandson, Lance.
Pallbearers were Chris Vinzant, Cleth Edwards, Junior Stover, Waynell Stover, Lance Adcock and Bob Hames.
