Funeral for Elsie Myrle Harville Short, 92, of Trinity will be Thursday, Oct. 2, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at Elliott Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Nix and David Barker officiating. Burial will be in Landersville Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 1, 2008 from 6 to 9 at the funeral home. Mrs. Short, who died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008, at Lawrence Medical Center, was born Feb. 29, 1916, in Lawrence County to A.C. and Idella Harville. She was a member of Midway Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert James Short; and three sons, Billy Stephen Short, Charles Gary Short and Stevie Short. She is survived by four sons, Bobby Short, Gerald Short, Michael Short and Tim Short; three daughters, Gail Jackson, Sharon Conradi and Kristie Traxler; 21 grandchildren; and 46 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be David Shelton, James Cagle, Tom Jackson, Tim Osborn, Terry Lindsey and Robbie Short.
