Elwood (Phil) Phillips, 83, of Rogersville died Friday, November 4, 2016, at Mitchell-Hollingsworth.
Visitation will be Monday, November 7, 2016, 12-2 PM at Elkins East Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2 PM in the Chapel with Jimmy Cox officiating. Burial will be at Hurricane Cemetery.
Mr. Phillips was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Phillips; grandson, Christopher Scott Butler; parents, George and Sarah Phillips; four brothers and four sisters.
Mr. Phillips is survived by five daughters, Kim Lane (Nick), Julia Wright (Denison), Debbie Lane, Marcia Tucker (Ricky), and Mona Tucker; two sons, Frankie Phillips (Paula) and Jeff Neisler (Lisa); sister, Mary Payne; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be Allen Phillips, Phillip Tucker, John Rose, Nicholas Phillips, Brandon Phillips, Brad Butler, Daniel Butler, and Sean Neisler; honorary pallbearer will be Kaleb Phillips.
