Emmons Dale Farthing, age 52, of Lexington, passed away on Tuesday March 30, 2010.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday April 4, 2010 at 2pm in the chapel of Elkins East Chapel with Rev. Kenny Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Springfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday April 3, 2010 from 5 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Farthing was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Farthing.
Mr. Farthing is survived by his wife, Janet Farthing; his daughter, Morgan Mizell; his sons, Emmons Dale Farthing II, Michael Farthing, James Fryman and Hunter J. Farthing; his mother, Loveda Farthing; his loving father and mother in law, Jay and Sue Brooks; his sister, Rosemary Eveland and husband Michael; his brother, Tommy Farthing and wife Carol; his special friend, Martin Donegani; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends and co-workers.
