Funeral for Enos Carl "Jack" King, 92, of Decatur will be Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Truman Harris officiating. Burial will be in Courtland City Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mr. King, who died Monday, May 19, 2008, at Parkway Medical Center, was born Sept. 16, 1915, in Lawrence County to Jeff and Minnie King. He attended Austinville Church of God. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lessie Zills King, and siblings, Mabel Austin and John D. King. He is survived by his wife, Gertrude King; one son, Kenneth King, and wife, Pat; one stepson, Dan Farrer, and wife, Nancy; two brothers, Henry J. King and Roy C. King; three sisters, Eleanor Davis, Lorine Pigg and Fay Harris; two granddaughters, Arlena Morris and husband, Roger, and Lisa Sims; four great-grandchildren, Kasi Roden and husband, Bradley, Caroline Morris, Hunter Morris and Blake Sims; two stepgrandchildren, Daniel Farrer and Tara Harrison; and four stepgreat-grandchildren, Kyle Blackman, Cheyenne Czajkowski and Chase and Drew Farrer. Pallbearers will be friends and relatives.
