Funeral for Estelle Stubblefield, 96, of Decatur will be Saturday, June 23, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Chapel with the Reverend Hansford Smith officiating. Burial will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Stubblefield, who died Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at Decatur General Hospital, was born June 7, 1916, in Alabama to Chris and Elizabeth Jaquess. She was retired from South Highland Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Stubblefield; and two sisters, Marie Collins and Eloise Goldwin.
Survivors include two sisters, Dessie Tackett and Drucilla Cornelius, both of Decatur.
