Funeral services for Ethel Terry Harris Bartee, 86, of Hillsboro will be today, January 4, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Elliott Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Charles Smith officiating. Burial will be in Morris Chapel Cemetery.
Ms. Bartee, who died Tuesday, January 1, 2013, at her daughter's residence, where she had resided for the past year, was born July 29, 1926, to Ike and Evalene Terry. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Bartee, and all her siblings.
She is survived by her son, Larry (Linda) Harris of Hillsboro; four daughters, Brenda (Waylen) Hagood, Kay Hill (Gary Coan), Juanelle (Odis) Roberts, all of Hillsboro, and Linda (Barry) White of Trinity; 18 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; and a devoted nephew, Anthony Randolph, many other nieces and nephews and several friends who called her mam-ma Bartee.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
