Eugene Fulks 84, of Killen died Tuesday, January 26, 2016, at his residence.
A graveside service will be Friday, January 29, 2016, at North Carolina Cemetery at 12 PM with Bro. Eddie Behel officiating. Elkins East Chapel is assisting the family.
Mr. Fulks was a good husband and a good provider, he loved his family very much. He was a member of Center Star Church of Christ, a member of the American Legion Post 11, a Staff SGT in the Korean War, and fought in combat. He was loved dearly and will be missed. He loved to fish, garden, and hunt, but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchild.
Mr. Fulks was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Blanche Fulks; brothers, Burtis, James, and Roy Fulks; sisters, Rita Taylor, Verta Mae Peck, and Jane Pennington.
Mr. Fulks is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Frankie Sue Fulks; two daughters, Shelaine Scarborough (John) and Leigh Ann Toth (Mike); son, Keith Fulks; grandchildren, Claudia and Alexandra O''Steen, Kelly Keffer (EJ), Bailey Fulks, Allie, Zack, and Anna Leigh Toth; great-grandchild, Camden Summerhill; sisters, Syble Haraway and Ruth Sanford (Stancil); and his beloved pet Candi.
Pallbearers will be Ralph Fulks, J.R. Fulks, Junior Joiner, Danny Stafford, Mike Toth, and Zack Toth. Honorary pallbearers will be John McGee, Frank Musso, and Gary Davis.
