Eula Wright Richardson, 95, of Florence passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at her home. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday at Elkins Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Elkins with Bro. Frank Mills and her grandson, Jess Eastep officiating. Burial will be in Richardson Chapel Cemetery.
She was a long-time member of Cross Point Church of Christ. She was a member of the Ambassadors of Love and worked with Disaster Relief. She mailed numerous cards, baked many loaves of bread and crocheted hundreds of items for others and also visited the nursing homes weekly. Eula also loved to color.
Survivors include children, Brenda Peck, Hilda Richardson, Dennis Richardson, Dianne Tays (Mike), Lynn West (Eric); daughter-in-law, Deborah Richardson; grandchildren, Lori (Jess), Rusty, Dean (Erin), Leslie (Logan), Caroline (Richard), Ty (Rachel), Carrie (Dewey), Jordan, and Janella; 12 great-grandchildren including Elliott who was born on December 16, and Baby Knightly due in January; sisters, Frances Johns (Marcus) and Helen Davis; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Noel Richardson; parents, Alonzo D. and Sally Wright; brother, Paul Wright and his wife, Mildred; son-in-law, James Peck; and brother-in-law, James Davis.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
