Funeral service for Eva Holtzclaw Beason, 86, of Decatur will be Friday, November 8, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home with Brother Charles Maples officiating. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Beason went home to be with the Lord on November 5, 2013, at her residence surrounded by family. She was born May 13, 1927, in Stevenson to Henry and Mary Whitten Holtzclaw. She is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Beason; her parents; grandson, Keely Beason Estes; brothers, Henry and Bill Holtzclaw; and sisters, Leona Hart and Lucille Overall.

She is survived by two sons, Ralph Beason and Fred (Yvonne) Beason; three daughters, Yolanda (Ronnie) Long and Lawana (Bobby) Harville, both of Decatur, and Donna (Johnny) Doss of Kimberly; 12 grandchildren, Will Harville, Christopher Long, Shane and Joe Beason, McKenzie and Jon Beason, Kevin, Jonathan, Rebekah and Emily Doss, Zachery and Lesley Jackson; seven great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.
