A private family memorial service for Eva Lee, 77, Decatur, formerly of Greenwood, South Carolina, will be held at a later date in her hometown. Eva Lee, who died Tuesday, December 2, 2014, was born on June 25, 1937 in LaFrance, South Carolina, to the late Gilbert and Vera Mashburn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Layton Lee; 5 brothers and one sister. Eva is survived by daughter, Lybia Covington (Clay); son, Randy James Lee (Tina); six grandchildren, Shaun Lee, Tara Tucker, Heather Lee, Michael Covington, Scott Covington (Kari) and Madison Tucker; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Clara Floyd (Casper) and Hellon Resendez (Wiley).
The family would like to give a special Thank You to Mrs. Lee's Hospice Team; Shaun, Ann, Lucy and Bro. Charles.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of North Alabama.
