Evelyn Brannen, 100, of Florence passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Glenwood Center. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday at Elkins Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday with Rich Hardeman officiating. Burial will be in Tri-Cities Memory Gardens.

Survivors include her daughters, Martha Kitchings, Emily Brady, Nancy Powell, and Ruthie Brannen; son, Herman Brannen, Jr.; 15 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grtandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Herman R. Brannen; daughter, Mary Elizabeth Brannen; grandson, Brannen D. Weiss; parents, Joseph David and Florence Woods Redfern; six sisters and one brother.

Pallbearers will be Matt Brady, Jacob Crowley, Joshua Crowley, Paul Brady, Jack Brady, and Robert Kitchings.
