EVELYN A. PARKER
Mrs. Evelyn Anita Parker, age 86, passed away July 23, 2009, at ECM Hospital.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 26, at 2:00 p.m. at Elkins East Chapel with Bill Lyons officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. on Saturday.
She was a native of Lauderdale County and was a retired seamstress.
Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her parents, Adolph and Emma Peck Adomyetz her husband, Herbert Parker, an infant daughter; sisters, Annie Jones and Mattie Mance, and nephew, Bill Jones.
She is survived by her daughter, Betty Williams and husband, Larry; granddaughter, Angela Williams; nieces, Earline Mahattha Hamner and Wylodean Jones Curl.
Pallbearers will be Bud Peden, John Glover, Mark Glover, Joel Glover, Lance Williams, and Harlon Goolsby.
