Evelyn "Juanita" Wilbanks Reatherford age 87 of Florence passed from this life Saturday June 14, 2014. Visitation will be Monday June 16, from Noon till 2:00 P.M. at Elkins Funeral Home of Florence. Services will follow at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel with Brother Greg Woodall officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.

She is preceded in death by her husband William Thomas Reatherford, her father John Mack Wilbanks and her mother Icy Josephine Wilbanks, and infant son Danny Reatherford and her sisters Mary Staggs, Clara Staggs, Hattie Darby, Anita Darby and Catherine Arnold. Her brothers Alvin Wilbanks, Elam Wilbanks, Mack Wilbanks, John L. Wilbanks, and Gene Wilbanks.

Juanita is Survived by her son Mike Reatherford (Angela) of Florence, Theresa Pugh (Gary) of Trinity, Cathy Gifford (Steve) of Florence. Two Grandaughters, Robin Davis (Brandon) of Killen and Stephanie Evers (Kevin) of Florence. Three Great Grandchildren, Will Evers, Brinlea Davis and Piper Davis. Honorary helper and nephew Jerry Anders (Darby) and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Reatherford was a charter member of and attended Florence First Assembly of God for over 50 years. She enjoyed cross stitching, gardening, and especially going to her prayer group on Tuesdays. Juanita was retired from the Florence City School system.
