Faye McGee, 80, of Rogersville died Monday, December 30, 2013, at her residence.
A memorial service will be Friday, January 3, 2014, at 11 AM at Friendship Baptist Church, with Bro. Joe Cook and Bro. George Stewart officiating. Elkins East Chapel is assisting the family.
Mrs. Faye always studied the Holy Bible and greeted everyone at church with a warm welcome and smile. She loved her family dearly and her church family.
Mrs. Faye was preceded in death by her husband Gil McGee; grandson Jason McGee; parents, brothers, and sister.
Mrs. Faye is survived by her two daughters Sheryl Tuttle and Janet Miller; son Philip McGee (Vickie); brother Sam Beaman (Edna); grandchildren Curtis Cox (Shannon), Anthony Cox (Nikki), Louis Knerr (Ellen), Andrew Knerr (Ashley), Wyatt Knerr, Jared Miller (Cristina), and Jesse Miller (Caitlin); great-grandchildren Liam, Molly, Trevor, Phillip, Lenzy, Evelyn, Easton, Anderson, Hailey, and Lauren; great-great-grandchild Jason; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
