Funeral for Faye McCarty Stockton "MaFaye", 85, from Moulton will be Tuesday at 2:00 PM at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, with Tommy Whitlow and Neil Carter officiating. Burial will be at Montgomery Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 12:30 to 2:00 PM at the church.
Mrs. Stockton, who died Sunday November 13, 2016 at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born on December 13, 1930, in Moulton.
She was a lifetime member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She was very active in the lives of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a servant of her community.
She is survived by her loving Husband of 68 years, Ray Stockton; two sons, Tony Stockton and wife Jan; Lynn Stockton and wife Beth; one daughter, Karen Pickens and husband Allen. Seven grandchildren, Karla Gillespie (Eric); Keri Murphy (Ben);Katie Black (Wes); Phillip Stockton (Amy); Kristin Blatt (Zach); Bekah Buttram (Kolby); Anna Chancellor (Duncan). Great grandchildren, Mattie Rae Gillespie; Beau Black, Emma Greer Black, Harrison Black, Cole Murphy, William Murphy, Lee Stockton and Molly Grace Stockton, Emma Reece Hetrick, Maggie James Chancellor; sister-in-law, Louise Whitlow.
