ANN DEAN
Mrs. Flora Ann Dean, age 66, of Killen, died Monday, August 24, 2009 at ECM Hospital.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Elkins East Chapel with Todd Walton and Daniel Gaines officiating. Burial will follow in Bluewater Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from noon until service time.
Ann was a graduate of Rogers High School and former owner of Ann''s Beauty Shop. She also worked for the Teamsters for many years. She was a member of the Pleasant Valley Church of Christ.
She always enjoyed spending time with her loving husband, especially fishing, and working in their garden and flower beds.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents Buford and Lucy Wright, a son Greg Wright, and brothers John C. and James Wright.
She is survived by her husband Wayne Dean, Killen; daughter Lynn Stanley and husband Butch, Decatur, AL; step-daughter Keri Dodd and husband Marty, Florence; grandchildren Rachael Sweet and Adam Stanley; step-grandchildren Victoria Dodd, Alexandria Dodd, and Carrington Dodd; brothers Bobby Joe Wright and wife Patsy, Florence, Wilbert Wright and wife Margie Sue, Florence, and Oscar Wright, Florence.
Pallbearers will be Butch Stanley, Adam Stanley, Daniel Burns, Greg Ezell, Mitchell Stease, and Steve Hannah. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Steen, Jim Dean, and Caleb Gray.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff on the 3rd floor at ECM Hospital.
