Florene "Miss Flo" Raper, age 86 of Florence passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015. Visitation will be Tuesday evening, January 13th from 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. at Elkins Funeral Home of Florence. Services will be Wednesday, January 14th at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Elkins with Tim Long officiating. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens.

Florene was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Mr. Clifford Lee Raper. And her son, Jimmy Raper.

She is survived by her son, Johnny L. Raper and his wife Dixie. Two sisters, Elvie Dowdy and Christine Pickle. Two brothers, Kirk Minor and Kenneth Minor. One grandchild and six great-grandchildren.

Miss Flo served her friends and customers at Jack''s on Florence Blvd for 16 years and very much enjoyed all her friends and customers.
