Frances Ann Littrell age 83, passed away on April 24, 2015. Frances was born in Lexington, Alabama and lived most of her life in Killen, Alabama. She was an active member of the Killen United Methodist Church.
Frances was married to Herman Littrell for 54 years, together they owned several businesses in Killen. They loved to entertain and enjoyed life together. Frances was a vibrant person who loved baking pies for friends and growing flowers. Everyone was always welcome in their home where they hosted many fish frys and family reunions.
Frances was preceded in death by husband Herman Littrell, parents James Dudley and Pearl Killen, and brother James "Curley" Killen.
She is survived by her son Kim Littrell (Rene) of Marietta, GA, son Kirk Littrell (Amanda) of Nashville TN; daughter Sondra Haygood (A.L.), Florence; grandson's Taylor and Jackson Littrell, Marietta; Granddaughters Jill Farris and Kristi Shollenberger (Brian), Florence; and greatgrandchildren Haley, Hannah, and Hayden Shollenberger and Jake Farris.
Visitation will be at Elkin's East Chapel in Killen from 12 PM to 2 PM on Sunday, April 26th. Services will follow at 2 PM, officiated by Bro. Brian McIntyre. Burial will be at Killen city cemetery. Pallbearers will be Taylor Littrell, Jackson Littrell, Brian Shollenberger, Jake Farris, Charles Crow, Wayne Parker, and Terry Littrell.
