Frances Louise Lanier, age 60, of Florence passed away on Saturday August 23, 2008 at ECM Hospital.
A funeral service for Mrs. Lanier will be on Wednesday August 27, 2008 at 7 pm at Elkins Funeral Home in Florence, with Baxter Graves officiating. The family will receive friends on that day from 5 pm until 7 pm at the funeral home.
Mrs. Lanier is preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Ardy Lanier; one sister, Margaret Heath; and one brother Charles Lanier. She loved to work in her word book and to watch the Food Network on television. Frances had a yearn for learning and went back to class and obtained a reading star for learning to read.
Mrs. Lanier is survived by her special friend, Billy Ray Madden of Florence; one sister, Martha Kuhlman of Waterloo; one brother, Thomas Lanier of Florence; and nieces and nephews, Julie Lanier, Rebecca Lanier, Betsy Kwasny, Michael Kwasny, Annette Parrish, andDuke Kaurin; 34 great nieces and nephews, including George Kaurin and Kenny Kaurin; her little friends she met in Michigan; and her two pets, Stoney and Grizzly.
