Frances Putman, 75, of Florence died Saturday, October 24, 2015, at ECM Hospital. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at Elkins East Chapel from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 28, 2015, at 10 AM at Elkins East Chapel with Bro. Pat Driskel officiating. Burial will be at Barnett Cemetery.
Mrs. Putman was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Jerry S. Putman and her parents, Grady V. and Bridie Mae Garrison.
Mrs. Putman is survived by her two sons, Randy D. Putman(Kathleen) and Kevin W. Putman (Vicky); three grandchildren, Spencer G. Putman(Autumn), Brandon W. Putman, and Matthew B. Putman; one great-grandchild, Emmett Spencer Putman; one sister, Patricia Gilliland (Charles); nephew, Christopher Putman; niece, Lindsey Gilliland.
Pallbearers will be Shriners-Nelson Richardson, J.C. Bergin, Sam Newton, Terry Bolton, Stanley Champion, and Tom Strain.

Mrs. Putman was a lifelong resident of Lauderdale County. She was a homemaker and also retired from Humana Hospital in Florence after 20 plus years.

Mrs. Putman along with her husband was members of the Muscle Shoals Shrine Club, Shriners Frisky Freak Parade unit and the Cahaba RV unit. They enjoyed traveling and camping over the years with their friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
