Francis Iva Jean Linville, 76, of San Diego, CA, journeyed to life''s end March 23, 2011, after an eight year battle with lung cancer. Memorial services will be held at Pleasant Springs Methodist (Railroad) Church, Fairview Community, on Sunday, April 10th at 2:00PM. She was born in a log house built by her grandfather, Plez Linville. Jean graduated from Collinwood High School in 1953, enlisted in the Navy, and moved to San Diego in 1955. Most of her nursing career after her stint in the Navy was spend at the VA Hospital in San Diego. Family and friends surrounded her in celebration of her life on March 19th. An extraordinary women, who always had a happy spirit, offered a listening ear, and shared with others a helpful heart, she loved her family and friends unconditionally. Jean was preceded in death by her husbands, Richard Erbacher and Larry Mason; her father, Herman B. Linville; her mother, Tina Mae Linville; grandson, Jeffrey Mason. She is survived by her dear children Terry Erbacher, John Erbacher, and Glenda Erbacher of San Diego; 5 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; three sisters, Deane Butler, Fairview Community, Evelyn Campbell, Huntsville, and Christine Ellis, Florence; two brothers, Rayburn Linville, Florence, and Harold Linville, Mobile.
