Frank Joe Gruber, age 89 of Florence passed away Tuesday November 24, 2015 at Twin Pines Adult Care Center in Kirksville, MO. Visitation will be Monday November 30 from 10:00 A.M. till 11:00 A.M. at St. Michaels Catholic Church in St. Florian, AL. Services to follow at 11:00 A.M. at the Church with Father Roy Runkle officiating. Burial will follow at St. Michaels Catholic Cemetery.
The son of Conrad and Mary Grace (Schmidlkofer) Gruber, he was born January 17, 1926 in Florence, AL.
Frank was united in marriage to Agnes Beumer and she preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents; one son, David Gruber; six brothers, Paul, Bernard, Marvin, Leander, Bill and Randy; and two sisters, Frances Yochim and Marie Myrick.
He is survived by a daughter-in-law, Laura Gruber Harden; one grandson, Joseph Gruber; three brothers, Charlie Gruber, Mike Gruber and Adrian Gruber; five sisters, Betty Pettus, Barbara Higginbotham, Carolyn Bracey, Martha Hammer, and Neena Connolly; and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
