Frankie Joe Swinea's Obituary
Frankie Joe Swinea, Sr., 67, of Decatur, passed away Wednesday afternoon, August 27, 2008 at Decatur General Hospital.
A memorial service will be held Friday morning at 10:00 at the Killen Church of Christ. Stan Dean will officiate.
Joe was born and raised in Lauderdale County and was preceded in death by his parents George and Ethel Hudson Swinea, brother Junior Swinea and sisters Mary Lanier, Peggy Green and Judy Gillis.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn Dean Swinea, Decatur; son Joseph Swinea, Jr., Helena; sister Frances Fairchild, Palm Springs, CA; brother Dan Swinea, Cypress Inn, TN; many nieces and nephews.
