Franklin D.R. Steele's Obituary
SPEAKE Funeral for Franklin "Bill" Steele, 83, of Speake will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Lebanon Church of God at Speake with Reverend Pinky Tyler officiating and Elliott''s Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Steele died Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born Nov. 6, 1932 in Cullman County.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Lavern Black Steele; two sons, Billy Ray Steele and Jerry Steele and wife, Sissy; two daughters, Wanda Ramer and husband, James, and Charlotte Fischer and husband, Steve; two brothers, Dagwood Steele and Peanut Steele; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
