Freddie Mae Sledge
Freddie Mae Sledge, 81, of Killen died Thursday, September 26, 2013, at Glenwood Healthcare.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 29, 2013, at Elkins East Chapel from 1-3 PM. Funeral services will be at 3 PM in the Chapel with Bro. Alton Garrison officiating. Burial will be at Butler Cemetery.
Mrs. Sledge was preceded in death by her husband Freddie Sledge; parents Johnnie and Vona Tate; baby daughter; sisters Millinea Sledge and Louise Taylor; brothers Junior Tate and Ralph Tate.
Mrs. Sledge is survived by her daughter, Freda Gail Myrick (Steve); sons, John Sledge (Cathy), Arthur "Bill" Sledge (Rhonda), and Jeff Sledge (Belinda); sisters, Shirley Pugh and Janie Lunceford; brothers, Paul Tate, Horace Tate (Judy), Donald Tate (Scarlett), and Bob Tate (Judy); nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
