Decatur Fredric Thomas Morelle died Oct. 31, 2016. He was born March 25, 1936, in Utica, New York, to Fred and Theresa Morelle. Technical High School, Buffalo, New York, graduated 1953 Regents Diploma; Air Force Institute of Technology, Dayton, Ohio, 1970 BSEE; University of New Mexico 1972 MSEE; Texas Tech Law 1980 J.D.; firefighter, electrical engineer, navigator missile launch officer 1963; Meritorious Service; Retired Air Force Officer, Lieutent Colonel.
He is survived by his loving wife, Gail Morelle; daughters, Theresa Von Phul, Barbara Jean Morelle, Catherine Oliveria-Morelle; Pat Morelle, wife of Robert Morelle; stepdaughter, Kim Gatto; three nieces, one nephew, several grand- nieces and nephews; granddaughter, Patience Oliveria; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Morelle; sister, Sharon Bortz; stepson, Douglas Suker; stepdaughter, Sharon Suker; and son-in-law, Michael Gatto.
