George Washington Boddie, Jr., 61 of Florence, AL passed away on Monday, November 26, 2018 at ECM Hospital. He was a native of Florence, AL an was a custodian at Mitchell Hollingsworth.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Elkins Funeral Home, Florence Chapel with the Rev. Carolyn Cole officiating.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Washington Boddie, Sr., and Clara Dell Summerhill Boddie; sisters, Grace Boddie, Queen Robinson; brother, Kenneth Boddie

Survivors include his brother, David Boddie; sisters, Debra Jackson and Glenda Boddie; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Elkins Funeral Home, Florence is directing.
