George Lloyd McPeters, 86, of Killen died Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at his residence.
Visitation will be Friday, February 22, 2013, 10 AM to 1 PM at Killen United Methodist Church. Funeral services will follow at 1 PM, with Bro. Brian McIntyre officiating. Burial will be at Killen Cemetery. Elkins East Chapel is assisting the family.
Mr. McPeters was preceded in death by his son James "Jim" McPeters and his parents George L. and Mary Lynn McPeters.
He is survived by his loving wife Edna McPeters; daughters Kathy Lowery (Haywood) and Rebecca White (Barry); son George McPeters (Ann); grandchildren Daniel, David, Laura, Nathan, Abbey, Kelly, Jordan, and Paul; great-grandchildren Lylah, Lucy, and John.
Pallbearers will be Nathan Fillers, Daniel Young, David Young, Kelly McPeters, Paul McPeters, Haywood Lowery, Chris Cooper, and Milton Mitchell.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations made to Gideon''s International.
