Graveside Service for Gerald Alfred Ray, 75, of Decatur will be Wednesday at 3:00 PM at Athens City Cemetery. The family will have a visitation from 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm at the funeral Home. Randy Smith, Trenton Smith and Peyton Smith will be officiating and Ridout''s Brown-Service Funeral Home Directing. Burial will be in Athens City Cemetery. Mr. Ray passed away on Sunday January 8, 2017 at his home. He was born on October 7, 1941 in Moulton Alabama to James W. and Verda Ray. He was preceded in death by his brother Quinton Ray, a sister Lois Ray-Banks. He was member of Beltline Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Miller Ray, Daughter Kim Ray Smith and Husband Randy. Brother Gordon Ray and wife Sheron, 2 Grandsons.
