Funeral for Gladys Mae "Sister" Scott, 90, of Decatur will be Thursday, February 12, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Alan Queen and Wayne Voss officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.Mrs. Scott died Monday, February 9, 2015. She was born December 26, 1924, in Morgan County to Wiley and Edna Scott. Mrs. Scott was a member of Bellview Baptist Church. She retired as a nurse from Decatur General Hospital. She is preceded in death by her brother, Wiley Scott and sister, Beatrice Robinson.Survivors include two sisters, Gertrude Black and Nina Smith; and a host of nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be nephews and friends.Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of the church.Donations are requested to Bellview Baptist Church building fund.
