Funeral for Glen D. Borden, 81, of Hartselle will be Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009, at 1 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Denzil Borden and Bro. Wendall Callahan officiating. Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mr. Borden died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009, at his residence. He was born Dec. 4, 1927, in Lawrence County to Irvin Monroe and Rosie Etta Borden. Survivors include his wife, Inez Borden; three sons, Wayne Borden and his wife, Judy, of Hartselle, Jimmy Borden and his wife, Deborah, of Tennessee and Danny Borden and his wife, Maxine, of Danville; daughter, Sandy McClain of Hartselle; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and brother, Burse Borden of Danville. Pallbearers will be Wayne, Jimmy, Danny, Mike, Allen, Terry and Brian Borden.
