Mrs. Glenda Faye Hill Biggers, 64, of Florence, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2009 following a brief illness.
The funeral service will be Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at the Elkins Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and sister and was dearly loved by her family. She was loved by all.
Glenda is survived by daughters Regina Brooks (Randy), Florence and Michelle Anglin (Scott), Florence; sons Danny Clemmons, Florence, and Ricky Brooks (Kelly), Florence; grandchildren Chasidy Borden, Amber McKelvey (Wayne), Bailee Clemmons, Koti Clemmons, Carly Clemmons, Stephen Whitten, Melinda Pounders (Dustin), Kimberly Hawk, Daniel Hawk, Lindsey Pace, Kaitlyn Pace, and Makenzie Anglin; great-grandchildren Sydnee Clemmons and Hayden Hawk; sister Ruby Riley (Larry), Florence; brother Ray Hill (Faye), Florence; a very special companion Robert Dunn; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter Patricia Clemmons, a great-grandaughter, Payten Pounders, parents Arthur and Lillie Hill, sister Gladys Cox and brothers Billy Buck Hill and Donald Hill.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
