Glennes V. Moore Belle Mina
Funeral for Glennes V. Moore, 92, of Belle Mina will be Friday, December 17, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home with William "Bill" Persons Jr. and Cheryl Blankenship officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Mr. Moore, who died Sunday, December 12, 2010, was born July 10, 1918, in Lawrence County to Virgil G. Moore and Lucy Ann Harris Moore. He was a member of Belle Mina United Methodist Church. He was a retired farmer. Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his daughter, Glenna Dell Moore Devine; and his brother, L.V. Moore.
Survivors include his wife, Odell Braswelle Moore; two granddaughters, Elizabeth Abrams and Katherine Devine; one grandson, Geoffrey Abrams; two great-grandchildren, Anastasia and Nathaniel Abrams; son-in-law, George Devine; and two sisters, Era Mae Murphy and Gertha White.
Pallbearers will be Ben Moore, Geoffrey Abrams, Donald Hollingsworth, Dr. Wayne Laney, Harry Jones, Elliott Murphy.
