Glennis Aaron Cook age 77 of Sheffield, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2016. Visitation will be Thursday early evening, November 3, 2016, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Elkins Funeral Home of Florence. Graveside services will be on Friday, November 4, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens in Florence.

He is the son of the late Ernest and Verta Cook of Central.

He was married to Lynda Anne Sutton the 26th day of January, 1963. They were blessed with five children. Lynda preceded him in death on May 27, 2014.

He is survived by his children; Malissa Lynn Effron (Randy), John Michael Cook (Lori), Matthew Aaron Cook (Missy), Jamie Lee Cook and Robert David Cook (Barbara). Grandson, Aaron Bryant Cook. Nieces, Susan, Laura and Tracy. Nephews, Lee and Harley. And a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be family.
