Grace Cook's Obituary
Mrs. Grace Cook, age 91, a resident of Florence Nursing Home since November, 2009, passed away there Wednesday, August 29, 2012.
Visitation will be at Elkins Funeral Home on Saturday beginning at 9:00 a.m. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in the Richardson Cemetery at Waterloo.
Mrs. Cook was a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by a daughter Betty Fielder and husband James of Florence; a son Kenneth Cook of Waterloo; six grandchildren Tina Octon of Texas, Tanya Cochran of Florence, Terry Cook of Texas, Katrina McCoy and husband Lee of Florence and John Cook of Texas; eleven great-grandchildren and thirteen great-great-grandchildren; brothers Ira Johnson and wife Bea of Florence and D.A. Johnson of Sand Mountain; sister Adean Montgomery of Lutts, Tennessee.
Mrs. Cook was preceded in death by her husband Johnnie F. Cook; sons Bill Cook of Texas and John Cook of Waterloo; grandchildren Jeffery Cook of Texas and Tamara Stooksberry of Sheffield and parents Dave and Edna Johnson of Lutts, Tennessee.
Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
