Gradie Mae Smith's Obituary
SPEAKE COMMUNITY — Funeral for Gradie Mae Smith, 65, of the Speake community will be Friday at noon at Elliott's Brown-Service Funeral Home with Brother Charles Williams officiating. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Smith died Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at UAB. She was born January 3, 1953, in Lawrence County to Grady Alton Hill and Celia Mae Kelso Hill. She was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Don Hill.
Survivors include her husband, Edmon Smith; two sons, Christopher Smith and wife, Alexis, and Jesse Smith; three brothers, Terry Hill, Larry Hill and Jason Hill; and six sisters, Dianne Hood, Jane Tollison, Phyllis Layton, Kathy Smith, Vickie Flanagan and Stacie Lamar.
Pallbearers will be Jeffery Frost, Casey Hill, Tracy Hood, Josh Oliver, David Smith and Tim Smith.
