Funeral for Grady Guy Burden, 90, of Decatur will be Monday, Aug. 6, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Ridout''s Brown-Service Funeral Home with the Rev. David Kelley officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mr. Burden, who died Friday, Aug. 3, 2007, was born April 22, 1917, in Lawrence County to John W. Burden and Pearl Terry Burden. He was retired from Fruehauf Aluminum of Decatur. His wife of 60 years, Julia H. Burden, preceded him in death. Survivors include one son, James "Jim" Burden and wife, Jo, of Athens; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
