Harold D. 'Buddy' Lang Moulton
Funeral for Harold D. "Buddy" Lang, 71, of Moulton will be Thursday, February 17, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Steve Agee and Bro. Bill Graham officiating and Elliott Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Lang, who died Monday, February 14, 2011, at home, was born February 24, 1939, in Moulton to Harold and Maggie R. Lang. Buddy retired as a building contractor. He was an avid sportsman and member of the Lawrence County Sports Hall of Fame. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Barbara Lang Mishler.
Survivors include his wife, Joan Young Lang; two sons, Robert K. "Bob" Lang and his wife, Tonya, and Joseph Harold Lang and his wife, Karen; daughter, Laurie Lang Schuman and her husband, Joseph; and seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Dale Cross, Lee Jordan, Harold Mayes, Don Gaddy, Bradley Cross and Lance Cleveland Jr.
Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Rains, Alton Lang, Larry Lang, Bailey Darnell, David Hogan, Pee Wee "Harold" Mayes and Dwayne Glover.
