Helen Ernestine Lowery Hill, 57, of Indian Creek, North Carolina, went to be with the Lord Sunday, August 25, 2013, at Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina. A native of Moulton, Alabama, she was the daughter of Bea Lowery of Decatur, Alabama and the late Ernest Lowery. She was a loving Mother and Nana.

Surviving, in addition to her mother, are Kenneth Hill, lifetime companion and friend; a daughter: Kassie Lee Hill-Chandler; a son: Luke Hill; and 2 grandchildren: Brian Levi McIntosh and Jodi LeAnn Chandler, all of Burnsville, North Carolina; sisters: Sheila Gillespie and Carolyn Cole and a cousin: Debbie McNalley, all of Moulton; and, several other cousins and relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 7:30PM Wednesday in the Chapel of Holcombe Brothers Funeral Home in Burnsville, NC, with Pastor Jerry Shelton officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7:30PM Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home.A visitation will be Saturday, from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM at Elliott Funeral Home in Moulton. Graveside service will be at 12:00 PM Saturday at Red Hill Cemetery in Moulton.
