Funeral service for Helen Jane Parker, 94, of Moulton, will be Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Elliott's Brown Service Funeral Home with Brother Neil Carter officiating. Burial will be at Montgomery Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6-8 p.m at the funeral home.

Mrs. Parker, who died on Saturday, February 23, 2013, was born on April 11, 1918, in Lawrence County to P.W. Alexander Sr. and Bessie Ophelia Hefner Alexander. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She was a loving and compassiate person and a wonderful cook and loved to cook for all of her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Elsie Mae Gehrlich; two brothers, Webster Alexander and Pruitt Alexander Jr.; two husbands, C.M. (Buck) Montgomery and his children, Clifton, Neal, Paul, and Lois, and W.J. (Buddy) Parker, and his son Charles.

Mrs. Parker is survived by two sisters, Lydia Roberts of Louisville KY. and Mary Ann Jalengo of East Point MI.; two step children, Linda Lackey and Larry D. Parker; and a host of step grandchildren, step-great grandchildren and step-great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Garry Buttram, Stacy Naylor, Anthony Alexander, James Alexander, Nick Roberts, and Sonny Daniel.
