Helen Romine Trousdale's Obituary
Helen Romine Trousdale age 93 of Florence passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2016. Visitation will be Thursday June 30, 2016 at Elkins Funeral Home of Florence from Noon until 2:00pm. Services will follow at 2:00pm in the chapel with Kenny Barfield officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
She is preceded in death by her husband James E. Trousdale. Parents Henry Porter and Edna Irena Ezell Romine. Two sisters, Alma Sue Renck and Dorothy Louise Smith. And brother Robert Porter Romine.
Helen is survived by two daughters; Jacquelyn Keener (Michael) of Asheville, NC and Barbara Jones of Hazel Green, AL. One granddaughter, Shailey Kile (Mike). Two great-grandchildren, Kensie and Audrey Kile. Two brothers; Allison B. "Dick" Romine (Nancy) and Richard Wayne Romine (Annette). One sister JoAnn Howell (Bruce). Sister-in-Laws; Ruth Trousdale Hamilton, Helen Marie Trousdale and Betty Romine Burdyshaw. An a Aunt Corinne Ezell Dawes. And numerous loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was a long time member of Sherrod Avenue Church of Christ.
Pallbearers will be family and friend.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
