Helen Teague passed away peacefully on April 8, 2022 at her residence. She was the daughter of Jesse Blankenship and Lorene Lackey. She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband Joe Teague. She was a lifelong member of Ninth Street Methodist church and retired from Alabama Farmers Coop with 39 years and was also a volunteer at Decatur Morgan Hospital for almost 20 years.

The family wishes to thank Comfort Care Hospice , especially Jan Parton, and Tina Smith, also caretakers Joyce smith, Beverly Moore, Sherry Stover and Jacqui Smith.

She is survived by her son Allen Teague and wife Connie. Grandsons Nick Teague and Adam Teague and Great Grandchildren Willow Smith and Callen Teague.

Helen loved life and she loved color. Should you decide to attend the funeral or visitation please wear something Colorful. Green was her Favorite, in lieu of flowers, please donate to Meals on wheels or your favorite charity in her honor.

There will be a visitation on Sunday April 10, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Ridout's Brown Service Funeral Home and a graveside at 2:00 pm at Roselawn Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Sellers Officiating.
