Henry A. Camp, 84, of Florence died Friday at a local facility. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 30, 2011, at Elkins East Chapel from 6-8PM. Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 31, 2011, 2PM, at Elkins East Chapel with Bro. David Cofield officiating. Burial will be at Bluewater Cemetery. Mr. Camp is survived by his loving wife, Lucile M. Camp; two daughters, Ma-retta Lu Camp of Superior, Wisconsin and Myra Louise Camp Campbell (Mitch) of Dallas, Texas; three sons, Terry Collen Camp (JoAnn) of Bradenton, Florida, Henry Arnt Camp III (Joanne) of Killen, and Lee Camp of St. Louis, Misouri; fourteen grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Mr. Camp was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Arnt and Teste Ovie Leech Camp. Mr. Camp graduated from Tremont High School in Tremont, Mississippi in 1947. He was a Certified Water Treatment Plant Operator and attended Community College of Lake County, Illinois. In 1991 he received the distinguished service award from the Illinois Section American Water Works Association. He was a member of the Advisory Committee of American Water Works Association, President of the North Suburban Water Works Association in 1989, and Vice-President of North Suburban Water Works Association in 1988. From 1950-1973 he was employed with A. & P. Tea Company where he was ajourneyman meat cutter from 1950-1953 and in 1953 became the Meat Market Manager.
